Assaf Biogarden

Assaf Biogarden, a certified organic garden in Yahshoush – Mount Lebanon, is a holistic natural environment reflecting the genuine brotherly bond of its founders, Marwan and Joseph. Their passion for nature was the main driver behind their successful high-quality production of organic fruits, vegetables, herbs and essential oils such as Lavender, Sage, Oregano, Myrtle, Rosemary, Thyme and Laurel. Expanding the use of their land’s medicinal herbs into essential oils has not only created a diversified source of income and a wider market for their natural products but has also enabled consumers to appreciate the back to roots culture that the brothers have adopted since they started in 2005.

Impact on society: rural development, sustainable production, economic growth and diversification, job creation, social integration.
